Easy Installation and Minimal Maintenance

One of the best ways to keep your T-Top Center Console Curtain fabric looking good and to delay the need for deep or vigorous cleaning is to hose the cover off on a monthly basis with clear water. This helps prevent dirt from becoming deeply embedded in the fabric and elminate the need for more frequent vigorous cleaning.

T-Top Boat Cover's Center Console Curtains are designed to be a semi-custom fit. They will fit a wide range of sizes and fit most center console boats. They feature two full length zippers on the port and starboard sides for ease of docking. Curtains hang approximately 4-6" under the T-Top and drop almost all the way down to the deck. They provide protection from the Sun, rain and other environmental deposits.

Locate the royal blue 1" webbing strap and attach it under the T-Top front and center of the console. Continue around the T-Top connecting the remaining straps. Secure the bottom of the cover using the four 10' webbing straps supplied. Often customers will snap 3 or 4 webbing straps together and weave them through the tie down loops and snap together on the side, securing it tight on the bottom.

Since our T-Top Boat Covers are not designed for in-water use, this makes our Center Console Curtains the perfect choice for in-water applications and quick & easy coverage when you're using the boat often. Customers have used the curtain for changing stations and protection from rain in pop up storms. Check out the gallery below to see how the Center Console Curtain will look on your boat or a similar sized boat.

We recommend that you clean your curtain while on the boat, follow these simple steps:

  1. Brush off loose dirt
  2. Hose down
  3. Prepare a cleaning solution of water and mild soap such as Woolite or Dawn dishwashing liquid
  4. Use a soft bristle marine brush to clean
  5. Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric up to 20 minutes
  6. Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed
  7. Air dry

If stubborn stains persist, you can use a diluted bleach/soap mixture for spot cleaning of mildew or bird droppings:

  • Mildew - 1/4 cup dishwashing liquid / 1 cup bleach / 1 gallon water
  • Bird droppings - 1/4 cup dishwashing liquid / 1 gallon water

If the inside of your curtain needs cleaning, you can install your curtain inside out on your boat. The zipper entry will be on the other side. Follow the same instructions listed above.
